Kari Dickson

Kari has been riding almost 20 years and began teaching out of necessity when the sole instructor at the barn where she rode quit in the middle of a workday. She then turned that surprise into a career opportunity and has been teaching ever since. Kari’s riding experiences vary from Western to Huntseat to Saddle Seat in which she has shown Quarter Horses, Arabians, and Saddlebreds. As a child and as a teenager, Kari was a very active member of 4-H; and now as an instructor she coaches the LEC 4-H Show Team and the newly formed LEC 4-H Drill Team. When she is not teaching lessons, Kari works with her own horses and has a special interest in Endurance riding. In addition to her equine pastimes, Kari also enjoys playing softball.
