Dear LEC
On behalf of all the four-legged equine barn buddies, I would like to declare that “Life is Good” here at LEC. As residents of this facility we enjoy a sense of security knowing that our safety and well-being are priorities for Betsy and the staff. Any concern our owners express, be it the need for a new light bulb or a vet visit, is respected and no question is considered too insignificant not to be personally addressed by Betsy. We like the predictable routine of our environment yet cherish an atmoshere of fun and comradery that permeates the barn. As for myself, in my nine years at the barn, I have received not only continued professional care but have been the recipient of lots of TLC from Betsy, staff, and especially my groom with whom I share a special bond. I remember once that Betsy told a group of riders that the horses are like her children and deserve to be treated with respect. So, knowing that we are not considered just beasts of burden elevates our status and makes our existence at BWS/LEC comfortable and happy. We are all anticipating with excitement our new accommodations at LEC and feel confident that we will continue to receive the caring personal touch we have grown to know and love.
Respectfully,
CH Many Great Days; aka, Hamlet
